North America (working document area)

When the Wish You Were Here ... Diving did the research for these pages we assumed that this one would be easy. Since Central America and the Caribbean have their own sections it would include the USA, Canada and Mexico. Right? Wrong.

Greenland is in there (ok, so we didn't know if Greenland was in North America or Europe. Did you? I didn't think so). We were going to put Greenland in Europe or possibly the Arctic Region but the World Factbook says otherwise.

Then there is a country we had never even heard of. There is a self-governing territorial overseas collectivity of France named Saint Pierre and Miquelon located in Northern North America, islands in the North Atlantic Ocean, south of Newfoundland (Canada) at 46 50 N, 56 20 W. As of yet we do not know if they have any wrecks or reefs to dive on - but we plan on finding out. If you know of any sites, or operators let us know.
